bgracer 01-30-2009, 10:44 PM whats the deal with those shocks?
Stateline R/C 01-31-2009, 08:59 AM where do you race that at
team-darkside 02-05-2009, 12:41 AM Is that a revo chassis? I think I heared they were the same size. The shocks look like integy piggy backs. How do they work out? Did you notice any differance over the stock shocks?
Thunder Valley 02-08-2009, 01:53 PM I race at White Knuckle Hobbies.

Thunder Valley 02-08-2009, 01:54 PM Poor car!! This this runs awesome with the center of gravity dropped 1.5"!! Don't knock it till you try it.
Thunder Valley 02-08-2009, 01:55 PM This is a highly modified 1/8 scale chassis from a thunder tiger. Any 1/8 scale chassis will work.
Quinn 02-09-2009, 06:32 AM Poor car!! This this runs awesome with the center of gravity dropped 1.5"!! Don't knock it till you try it.
I agree with the "poor car" comment. The slash is great because it was ment to run stock and test who can actualy drive the thing the best - not who can re engineer it the best. You did a great job on it, don't get me wrong - it just may as well BE the 1/8 scale that was the doner chasis thats all. Have fun w it.
Thunder Valley 02-10-2009, 12:29 PM Being an Engineer, I prefer to modify my toys to the best of there ability. I prefer my own mods instead of aftermarket bolt ons. Thanks for the the good critique!! Keep 'em coming!
splashrc 02-21-2009, 02:28 PM Do you race this? I think that is the question that most meant to ask. If the answer is yes you defeat the entire purpose of the class. If not, then great mods and have fun with it. It is all about having fun. Until someone shows up at the track with this kind of hybrid and wants to run with everyone else. I think that is what they are getting at.
Team T2C 02-22-2009, 06:44 PM yes , thumbs down from me "another engineer". We have 3 slashes that are Box stock. I wanted to do something different and my way too, So I created and manufactured my own cars. The Box Stock slash is great racing and really nice realism.:(
BillH 02-24-2009, 01:56 PM No reason you can have stock and open class for the slash (corr) trucks. I happen to like stock, but if some people want to mod, so be it. Just dont ask me to race the mods with my stocker.
BillH 02-24-2009, 01:57 PM How does it jump? looks like it would be rear heavy?
J Blaze 08-16-2009, 03:34 PM I think the damn thing looks cool as hell!!!!!!!!!
Justin B 08-16-2009, 05:38 PM Modify away....unless you are racing stock class. I too modify everything I own. It's all about making it yours. I think when all the new CORR trucks are out, there will be a modified class just to try and even all the different trucks out some.
Lazer Guy 09-25-2009, 12:02 PM Anybody know a good tire/insert combo that would work good on hard packed dirt for open/mod SCT ????????
Thanks
Justin B 09-27-2009, 11:04 AM Try J Concepts Goosebumps.
rival323 12-23-2009, 02:47 PM or even the proline bowties with a m2 compound
Try J Concepts Goosebumps.
YES! +1 vote
Jerzferno 12-27-2009, 11:04 AM Goose Bumps!!
Chris007 07-04-2010, 09:46 PM Hey im a Slash owner and i recently bought a carbon fiber chassis for it. But what i was wondering is where did you get them shocks and how much did they cost.
kane0021 07-06-2010, 04:58 PM Modify away....unless you are racing stock class. I too modify everything I own. It's all about making it yours. I think when all the new CORR trucks are out, there will be a modified class just to try and even all the different trucks out some.
+1 I hate stock class anything! If it can't be modded it's not for me! Traxxas pushes this box stock crap for whatever reason which I guess was alright when they where the only one making a SC truck, but times have changed!
BTW more cheating occurs in any stock class that I have ever seen.
Mod it, race it, love it!!!!!
