I had an idea I'd like to throw up for consideration.

I think we can all agree that the Irwin Allen kits that Moebius put out this year really gave the whole modelling industry a much needed shot in the arm so what I would like to propose is that any and all of us who are planning to come to Wonderfest this year and who have built either a Pod or Chariot (or Seaview, but those might be a little harder to transport) bring them with you so we can display them as one big fleet as a show of thanks.

I'm sure some folks will be entering theirs in the competition and that's great, but I'm talking about maybe bringing them to the meet and greet or setting up a table like we did with the Galactica fleet last year. but these would be non-judged, just showing off for the fun of it.

I think it would be a great ice breaker for folks who want to see how other folks did theirs or want to show off what they did.

That sounds like a great idea Lou. I wish I could be tnere to see something like that. However, it does give me an idea.

Down here in little ol' Georgia, we are having the IPMS Atlanta Model Expo in late June. That would be somethnig cool to do down here with our gathering of three local clubs, along with all the folks from neighboring areas who will be here. I think I will bring this up on Saturday at our club meeting.
