We have a few tracks up here in northern MI and in the Upper Peninsula
So I thought I would start a thread for them all
I am hoping this thread will also be a nice place for all the ppl we used to race with in the past to come together again and chat about old time and new times to come

We have 2 great tracks right now

We have racing in Saint Ignace Mi at The Saint Ignace Elementary Gym
Racing has moved to Sundays
The flyer is listed below
We are racing oval only but might be doing a road course if info ppl want to run it

Also There is racing In Iron Mountain
I just got back from racing there on Saturday night. Nice track and the folks that run it are great They offered free chili to all that came which was nice on the cold UP night. I was to busy chatting with old friends and making lots of new ones That I forget to get a bowl So Craig You own me dinner next time
They have 3 great classes of slashes going on Pro2 Stock Pro2 Mod and Pro2 Unlimited

the 2nd Annual Spring Fling will be April 25th at the Little Bear East Arena in Saint Ignace Mi
This race will held inside the Ice Arena floor area Of course the ice will be gone
Race carpet will be laid down on the ultra smooth floor
There is plenty of light and Loads of Power


Normal race dates will have the following classes offered
Legends Class Legend rules apply
Stock Truck Stock motor or Brushless 17.5 6cell or 2cell Lipo with 6000mah or less runtime Must be hard case pack
Stock Mini includes any vehicle that's 14th scale or smaller & stock motor
Mod Mini includes any vehicle that is 14th scale or smaller with mod motor
Emaxx Stock motors only 6cell or 2cell Lipo with 6000mah or less runtime Must be hard case pack
Traxxas Slash This is a BOX STOCK CLASS ONLY THING THAT CAN CHANGE IS THE RECEIVER any thing else MUST BE PREAPPROVED 6cell or 2cell Lipo with 6000mah or less runtime Must be hard case pack
Stampedes stock motor or traxxas motor 6cell or 2cell Lipo with 6000mah or less runtime Must be hard case pack

ALL Other classes will be ran if we have 3 or more
Entry fee is $10 first class $5 for each additional class
Rentals are $20 and includes the race fee
Tables and chairs provided Please bring ext cord and power strip

Chuck they are racing oval but not Pan cars right now in Iron Mountain
They race Oval on Tuesday's

I 'm not sure how close you are to Esky I know you said about 3 hours to Iron Mountain
But maybe you can get with Matt and see about coming to Saint Ignace and we can do Pan cars again I think you would whoop me pretty bad the first day but I woudl be ready the next race
I have 3 pan cars and Rob has 1 But I want the New McPappy car and Also Ben W from Bark river has 2 of them of they didn't sell on Ebay I wouldn't mind getting them and making Spec Pans out of them just so we can run Pan again over here

Also anybody with the VTA touring cars This Sunday in Saint Ignace If you have them and You are racing another class the VTA Class is free
I will also have some if I get time to put them together for the race too
I really think this class is going to get the ppl watching into R/C as most can really relate to the body and with the USVTA Rules it makes it cheap too

Need the results of the heat races also:thumbsup:. I'm working on setting up a point series system for our races. We are running a 10 week series over a (12 week period) and will be awarding trophies and things at the conclusion. There will be 3 throw out races. We are done with the 2nd week already and I need to get my butt in gear for the point standings!!

Who all is coming Sunday should be a nice turn out please remember to bring ext cords and power strips if you have them I do have a limited supply

Also at the School you will see my race trailer and truck parked in front of the door you need to come into
If you like you can pull up on the sidewalk unload and than move your cars to the parking lot

We are going to be giving out points for the heat races as well as the mains. Still working on a scoring system for the points. I am trying to make it as fair and competitive as possible.

I will double check the dates on the website and correct. If the date is on a friday it should be the saturday date. Sorry for any confusion:drunk:

Hello boyz!! Welcome ME to the forum!!!! Ha!! I AM going to be the posting master... Watch out!!! So the trash talking has started and everyone is getting into the swing of things!! It's been crazy the first few weeks of racing and the first offical month of our store being open!! The three months my family and friends spent up here busting A** everyday and night getting everything ready until 1am is starting to pay off and make all that work worth it!! The racing and turn out have all been exellent! Lots of great people and fun! Our race classes are growing, and the competition is getting much better! Slash class is killer, but we have the mini's and 1/10 stock and modified that are showing up and making a come back!! We are running oval off-raod and on-road on tuesday and have had a lot of interest in that also! Thank you to everyone that has come out and raced and supported us so far! Spread the word we have the BEST RACING, video gameS...arcade games....table games.... ANYWHERE!!!! WE JUST ROCK and there is no reason to go anywhere but WHITE KNUCKLE R/C & HOBBY :thumbsup:... and then follow us for the next best at KC Hobbies track!!! Sorry Casey..lol.... I had to lay claims to that first!! I'll give you second best!! :p.... I look forward to working and doing business with everyone and the st. ignace boyz!!! I appriciate you guys making the long trip over in such crappy weather and helping out!! Our transponder system is on it's way as we speak! Looking forward to that FOR SURE!! hey guys just figured id drop in here and leave everyone a line so haha mr. promatch ill be a trackside tonight running with state and national champs working on my r/c game lol but yea jensen and kivi i left him a buisness card for whitenuckle and he said he would be happy to have a group come down with slash trucks and ill tell you they have a ton of them. i think they had 30 last friday and that was a slow night scotty said! anyways ill be back tonight he brodcasts the races live on another website and does all the anouncing for them. check it out and i hope all goes good with racing this weekend i wont be up but im aiming for next weekend when ives will be there. talk to you all later.

We will be running pan cars, sedans, and running off-road oval also on tuesday nights at our new store location! Pan Cars look just like Nascars
They are direct drive cars
The AE 10l5 is one of them
There are many different models of pancars but with the body on they all basically look the same

We run them over here in Saint Ignace

You should start seeing more show up there as there is a lot that have them or used to have them around that area
