Hey all,

I'm not much of a railroad modeler. But I can appreciate the time, effort, and skill of some of you. What I am interested in is simply have a nice scale model of a EMD F7, and a cabless boaster (B Unit). I can't even find a good set of drawings to work from. But then again, I'm not chummy with the right people in the right circles.

So, is there such a beast in kit form?? Or anyone know of or have drawings??

Thanks.

Not sure about kit form. Would you be against buying one that is already done say from USA Trains or Aristo-Craft, etc?

There is some info available at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EMD_F7 and some links from there that show more details. Im sure there are other sites devoted to this series?

I have at least 1 ABA in O scale myself. Probably more.

Yeah, I'm not to picky as to whatever livery it comes in. I'll need to repaint anyways. I want to do a local train I am very familiar with (Ontario Northland, and Polarbear Express)). I lived across the street from the train yard, and I spent WAY too much time on one as well.

So, I don't need one that even works, just looks pretty. It will be a static display. I would assume that if there is a G Gage (and why wouldn't ther be), it will be expensive, and working. I just want/need the shell. Or some really good drawings. :)

Heck, I'll even take an FP!! That what razor saws are for!!

There should be F-7 drawings in the Model Railroader Cyclopedia Volume 2: Diesel Locomotives. I think I've seen some online, too.
