I am a hauler freak! I have a large portion of my display collection dedicated to different types of racing transporters and the cars they haul. So I really find these new "fantasy" style haulers just pure junk!
For the last few years, all I see at the retail level is the tribute or the overall stupid "fan friendly" rigs. And I really see NO haulers at the collector level. Where are the real, accurite (sp?) transporters?
Sorry for the rant, I was just in a WM today and noticed the new batch of Action junk and just realized how much I missed the real transporter replicas! I guess they just did not sell enough to market them anymore.
I'll go away now and crawl back under my little rock!

your completely right. what the stores are selling is junk. but i think it entails the entire nascar situation. right now, it's falling apart. chris myers, announcer on fox racing, and has his own sports talk show every day, said he expects to see races with loads of empty seats in the stands, and the 43 car field down to 36 or 37 at times. racing peaked years ago, and is now falling away from entertainment and collectablility. and nascar has just made it worse with the chase and the stupid car they built. i've watched enough football and seen enough players taken off on stretchers, or die on the field from the physical nature of the sport. i've seen local lacrosse players careers ended with torn knee ligaments, or severe injury here in the lacrosse haven of the country the mid atlantic. they don't cry and ask for more protection and safety like a nascar driver did. that's what a sport is, a chance to have fun, but you risk serious injury. nascar is a bunch of wimpy premadonas racing a tank, so they don't get a hang nail, going in circles for hours on end.. that's not sport. that a circus act, like the high wire act with a 3 layer net under you.. what's next for nascar drivers? flack jackets? steel boots? shatter proof helments? puncture proof tires? nascar lost it's integrity, by pushing safety way to far, 3 years ago. but it ruined the sport with the chase 5 years ago, as it throws out 33 drivers to seriously compete for the last 10 races. it's totally ignorant.

Not enough drivers or schemes anymore, everything Dale Jr., and hardly anyone else.:(
No more adult collectible cars with the beer ads either.
Not enough 1/64 platinum stuff.
Action and WC need to reconsider their offerings.
