In all honesty, i used to collect the HW nascar TH's, but have downsized my nascar to just racing champions.... I thought the HW TH nascars were pretty cool...... if i was still collecting them, i'd be giving ya' a hit on em'.... randall kwik 01-15-2009, 04:36 PM yes, there is a website for nascar fans. it's: www.thecollectorslounge.com the site has all things. but is mainly nascar collectors. you should check it out. it's somewhat amusing to see people buying these winners circle cars and other diecast, thinking they have found gold, and stil in the mindset it's worth a fortune. i've tried to invoke my own experience on there of how much these guys are going to lose. especially the younger ones. but, i get trashed. go there and join. it's free. i think you'll quickly find it's a small group of diehards. they refuse to accept the reality of nascar now. it has a classifieds. but nothing ever sells. mostly it's guys giving things back and forth to each other. in the beginning i tried selling things on there. and tried again recently to offer up a couple green machines. my post was deleted. you aren't "supposed to make money" with your other friends on there. it's comical and absurd. worst part is, there are some really good people on there. but they need to come here. QuicksilverDC 01-15-2009, 07:03 PM does anyone collect nascar hot wheels treasure hunts plmk thanksOk I kinda walked away from both selling as a vendor/wholesaler/dealer etc and collecting diecast almost cold turkey about 7 years ago, only occassionally strolling down the diecast isle once in awhile looking to add a few neat pieces to my collection, mostly Mopar pieces, as I was totally out of control before. I like cars period,1/1 scale down, so even the most lowly poor slush cast piece can hold a place in my heart and collection, I just recently bought some beat up old lone stars from Australia that 2 of them were 1969 Dart GTS 340 convertibles, that I never knew exsisted. This ultimately after many years tends to literally fill ones home up stressing out the even the foundation of the house from the combined weight:o.....well for the last 6 months or so the blinders have come off, but have attempted to narrowed down my passion to Mainly Mopar pieces and picking up on some of the few pieces I missed long ago in relation to the Racing Champions Nascars, and buying ONLY the pieces that I find neat. I obviously have missed out on what a TH Nascar hot wheel is? And rather than go seeking out what one is, I figured I would just ask. I do not have ANY interest in them UNLESS there happens to be a Mopar in the mix, and in that case I welcome even the loose pieces. kwik 01-15-2009, 07:32 PM some photos would be nice. vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
