I started a new blog to called Slot Car Dirt (http://www.slotcardirt.com/)to help spread the word about Slot Car collecting and racing plus get more exposure to HobbyTalk (http://www.hobbytalk.com/). This blog should have a larger reach as it will be syndicated across a much wider range of web sites and users.
The idea of Slot Car Dirt is get some short, easy to read articles that contain information on the Slot Car hobby. Things like building/hop-up tips, new release info, racing news and even personal opinions would be interesting reading.
Currently I am grabbing some interesting threads off of HobbyTalk (http://www.hobbytalk.com/bbs1/forumdisplay.php?f=111) to seed the blog but could use your help in getting unique information on the blog. The articles don’t need to be long, a paragraph or two is fine. We want this to be bite-sized, easy to read (and write) so readers will continue to visit since it would take a lot of their time to read.
For the authors it should only take a few minutes to write up and post the articles. Each of your article will automatically be fed to HobbyTalk each day (like was done this article) so you kill two birds with one stone. Readers can then comment on your article on either Slot Car Dirt or HobbyTalk.
