naw its for an open class but for some reason it only works when i put it in a stock can

depends on how the arm is wound. It might go backwards when you hook up the voltage!

well all i got is my 14x2 double but anything around a 14t(13,15,17) need it for my truck in the monster blast event becuase i need high torque.

Probably not good to put a 14X2 in a purely stock can because the laydown brushes that help a stocker run good might cause too much amp draw and arcing with a mod arm. You also loose the flexibility to adjust the timing unless you mod the endbell.
