What do you know, they sell collectibles!!!

I picked up this wonderful two car set of the 1-2 finish M3's from the 2005 24 Hours of Nurburgring. A hugh win at home for the team.

Think about it, in a country the size of Germany, you have Mercedes-Benz, Audi, VW, BMW and Porsche. To win at home is a VERY big deal when those are your neghbors!

These are the first "race used" MiniChamps I own. I don't know how often they do this, but man, they do it well! Though I did not show it in the photos, the dirt "streaks" over the roof and rear glass. Just amazing!

I just wanted to share, I enjoy all of your pics, so I though it was my turn to add a little something!

Simply stunning, they did a great job with a weathered look. They do look good in every detail .

Yeah! I've been itching to buy some of the ones at my Land Rover dealership, but they are priced to stay. Some nice models, though and some beautiful Beemers you have there. Good buy!!

I know what you mean DH, this set was not bad at $80. But my local Porsche dealer has several fine pieces I would like to own...just not at thier price!

If anyone here wants to buy some of these diecast promotional models from European manufacturers, I feel your pain. They are often quite expensive at the dealerships - but not always. Sometimes they can be bought on sale; sometimes if a vehicle has recently been discontinued (or "facelifted") the older model might be on sale.

For mail order sales I suggest Thomas Kaeseler at Dellergo/Europromo in Massillon, Ohio.

Thomas has promos from all the European manufacturers. He is a good guy and provides good, courteous and prompt service. The promos are expensive but often unique racers or production colors are available that can not be purchased from any hobby retail source. Sometimes Dellergo will sell these nice promos at discount prices.

The product is usually made by Minichamps, Schuco or some other fine quality diecast producer.

How much were they? The dealers here that sell diecast sells them for A LOT.

And to make it even sweeter, I had a Visa gift card I had won in a work promotion. So really, it cost me NOTHING!!!! I was a pretty happy customer when I left!
