The season KICK OFF for the 2009 season of the SWTour Series will be February 21st at the ENCINO VELODROME.

Scheduled classes for the 2009 season will again be:

21.5/LIPO (Stock Car Bodies)
17.5/LIPO (Stock Car Bodies)
NASTRUCK (17.5/LIPO)

I've been asked about a couple other possible classes, and has always been the case in our events, we can always run additional classes if there is a demand to do so, and racers can get together on the class structure.

Possible classes:

21.5/LIPO Nastruck
21.5/COT
VINTAGE Trans-Am (on the short ovals)
Oval Touring (on the short ovals)
more?

Additional classes will NOT be run for points championships.

2009 Rules will allow for the use of ORION 3400 LIPOS (along with the original 3200's)

Don't forget to check out the info for the VELO BODY CHALLENGES for the opening race at the VELODROME.

Upto $100.00 CASH if you can TQ and WIN the 21.5/LIPO "A" Main
($50.00 for TQ, and an additional $50.00 if the TQ also wins the Main) using the NEW McAllister VELO Body. (Paid by ME - Joe Myers)*

Body must have McAllister decal and you MUST notify TECH you are trying for the challenge each time you come to Pre-Tech for qualifying.

Also, Bill Murdock has posted a Windtunnel Velo Body Challenge, you MUST contact Bill @ Windtunnel Products to be eligible for the Windtunnel version of the challenge.

21.5 Lipo Truck might be a class that is run the entire season. Maybe you'll re-consider giving it Championship status if the turn out is decent?
