Bart Diaz 01-12-2009, 11:22 PM It's called you stay over night and have a fun weekend away, some of use do it all the time.
Porksalot4L 01-12-2009, 11:29 PM well the Mc Snappy worked well this weekend so im taking my buddy Dales advice and putting it aside till the cabin fever. dont wanna SNAP it b4 then :) this weekend i will be testing the "Brett Diaz" Edition CW Solid car! its awesome i bet it works awesome in the lipo 21.5! cant wait
Porksalot4L 01-12-2009, 11:35 PM i could be wrong but i do believe that Pete D and Steve Miller were running like 2.05 tires on there cars this weekend? Maybe one of them can chime in if im right or wrong on that? what does everyone think? less rolling resistence possibly? ususally i throw my tires out at 2.07 but maybe im not going far enough?
SHADOW 01-13-2009, 06:31 PM come'on Joe I've seen you run the glue;)

Alan Behler 01-20-2009, 11:24 PM if i am not mistaken the cabin fever rarce is always the last week of febuary. the blast is different every year. i was hoping to actually go this year:cry:
SHADOW 01-20-2009, 11:55 PM You're right Alan, Bill doesn't move his races around that way you always know when they're going to be.if i am not mistaken the cabin fever rarce is always the last week of febuary. the blast is different every year. i was hoping to actually go this year:cry:
ovalrc 01-21-2009, 06:18 PM Yes definetely a bummer the two are the same weekend, I was planning on doing both. Maybe the Blast will move again next year and we can swing it. But I'll be back to Marshalls before seasons end, always a good time there.
Bart Diaz 01-28-2009, 09:13 PM Bump!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
SHADOW 01-30-2009, 02:24 AM Got the Friday off so I can get up there early for a change:woohoo:
Porksalot4L 02-02-2009, 05:40 PM im looking to race 21.5 and 17.5 lipo so i hope theres a good turn out for both! really cant wait for this years race!
With the popularity of the 13.5/1cell class growing so fast,
have they considered adding that to the program?
Just curious...
Porksalot4L 02-03-2009, 12:16 PM it will be running with 4cell 17.5
RIP MOTORSPORTS 02-03-2009, 05:21 PM hey maybe turn 4 will move there race back a week or 2 and that way they will hgave a lot better turn out.me and ron will attend it then also.while theres time the tracks can work together!!!roger that 2 weeks would be best.just a suggestion
cutter1 02-03-2009, 05:22 PM Dan, 13.5 1 cell has been running for the last couple weeks, there running with the 17.5 4 cell and speeds have been real close so far, last week i think there was about 5 or 6 1 cells
SMROCKET 02-03-2009, 07:15 PM I will be happy to attend and show how the new FANTOM lipos run ... We ran them in Fla for the birds and they are awesome .... First shipment from the factory due late next week to FANTOM .... I will be down next weekend and let xsome guys run a pack ot two .... SRM
Porksalot4L 02-03-2009, 07:42 PM cool Rocket see you then!
Porksalot4L 02-08-2009, 04:24 PM only a few more weeks to get ready
MikeNum8 02-08-2009, 05:14 PM Rules for this event? Looked at website for Marshall's and it's outdated.
Porksalot4L 02-08-2009, 05:23 PM MikeNum8 what classes are you interested in for rules?
MikeNum8 02-08-2009, 05:37 PM 12th and 10th scale pan cars
bossman357 02-08-2009, 05:57 PM bart that you run at cabin fever races
Porksalot4L 02-08-2009, 07:03 PM well 12th scale i believe is 13.5 4 cell and there are a few 10th scale pan classes. 21.5/13.5 mix. lipo for 21.5 and 4cell 13.5. also there is a 17.5 lipo class. also there is a 13.5/17.5 mix class. thats 13.5 1cell lipo or 17.5 4cell.
it sounds a bit confusing but its not to bad. with lipo the rule is 8.44 max volts for 2cell and 4.22 max for 1cell. also a 100 degree rule on temp. 3200 rule for the 21.5 lipo class but for the 17.5 lipo class it is anything up to 5000.
hope to see some new faces for this race
MikeNum8 02-08-2009, 07:49 PM no motor rule? Another words any motor. Doesn't have to be a novak or anything like that?
SHADOW 02-08-2009, 09:08 PM 17.5 4 cell/ 13.5 single cell lipo- 4600's batts and weight at 2.57 lbs for the 4 cell/ single cell is 4.22 volt max with 100 degree max temp, weight at 2.25 lbs - open to any roar approved motor.
13.5 4 cell/ 21.5 lipo - 4600's batts and weight at 2.57 lbs for the 4 cell/ single cell is 8.44 volt max with 100 degree max temp, weight at 2.38 lbs - open to any roar approved motor.
There has been a 4 cell stock class thats been running lately, I beleive they run the house motor rule.
12th scale has been 17.5 4 cell 4600's
cutter1 02-08-2009, 09:37 PM i don't believe there any roar approved 21.5 motors, so any motor is ok
Porksalot4L 02-09-2009, 01:37 PM cutter you are going down........................ :) lol this race can not come soon enough. right now im thinking of running 21.5 and 17.5 lipo. but i might end up trying 1 cell lipo also. Mc snappy will be back in the house for anyone wanting to copy the design! :)
