AutoFest is pleased to announce that the 2009 Pace Car will be the GreenLight 1969 BOSS 302 Mustang Fastback. This car is penned by our own Mike Groothuis Designs and are now available to reserve. Buying two Pace Cars and a Green Machine again guarantees one Pace Car will match in number to the Green Machine variation. If you opt for two Pace cars and the Green Machine option you also qualify to purchase the BONUS raw version which will also match in number the Pace Car and Green Machine. All castings are factory made and will again be sealed in blisters will full custom art. Last year’s stunning card art was almost as nice as the castings themselves! If sales go as well as year’s past the following illustrations are also on the drawing board that include an exclusive PSR, Crunch Car, Event Car, Dirty Bingo version and a couple more surprises for the 2009 show. Only 300 sets of the Pace, Green Machine and Bonus car are available and you may order multiple sets. Remember this is the car the gets the show going and 2009 looks to be the best year yet! 2009 AutoFest Pace Car payment details.



Starting 02/01/09 Payments can be made to secure your Pace Car set reservations. Reservations will be honored until 03/15/09 when payment in full is due. A payment verification thread will be started at HobbyTalk at the Johnny Lightning section and names will be posted as payments are received to verify receipt of payments. Production starts next week on these pieces and delivery is scheduled for late May early June which means sets will be paired and mailed out shortly after! You can have the option of no shipping and handling fee if you want to pick up your sets at the AutoFest show in August.



Option A. Pace Car 15.00 each plus 5.00 shipping and handling (up to three cars ordered).

Option B. Pace Car with additional matching numbered Pace Car and Green Machine 50.00 a set. 5.00 shipping/handling first set. Add 2.00 for each additional set.

Option C. Pace Car with additional matching numbered Pace Car, Green Machine and Raw Bonus Car, 70.00 a set. 7.00 shipping/handling for first set. Add 3.00 for each additional set. Purchase four or more sets and shipping is free.



With payment, please provide return mail information, option instructions, full name and specify if you made pre-reservations. Those who reserved sets will be filled random draw, from cars numbered 1-150. Those who decide to pick up sets at the show will not be guaranteed sub 150 numbers for the sets. If a check is returned for any reason a 15.00 charge will be added to the balance.

A very fair question. This year GL made sure all the "t's" were crossed and "i's" dotted. Sent samples out to myself and Ford and to my knowledge there were no issues. I did e-mail the GK gang weeks back for an update and nothing at the time was out of the ordinary. We look at thirty days from shipment from China if I remember right. Today I asked Jeff for another update. As soon as I get the deatils I will update all.

Slight delay here, GL didn't ship them out when we thought, the left yesterday and on the way to Marks.
