i really dont wanna get SMC for bashing, cause they are to be left on the track IMO, but id rather spend less money on bashing and not worry bout wrecking good packs, but id like to buy cheaper ones for bashing...

Dude, the Maxamps batteries available now are much more race worthy than last season. If you just want a "play" battery, keep the Trinity Reference 4500 in mind, or if you don't mind a lipo without a hard case Amain has Protek 4000mah packs for $35. The Maxamps would make a great basher pack as well. Just depends what you're after.

Check out ultralinehobbies.com or truerc.net for some good pricing on some good packs.
