NV529 04-28-2009, 01:46 PM a couple questions, will 1/8th E buggies be allowed to run at litchfield? if so count on 4 us coming down for the weekend! also is there practice friday and can we camp out on the track grounds? -Thanks Nick V. 420 Tech R/C 04-28-2009, 02:15 PM hey nick, it's Chad from washtenaw! Their ruling on the 1/8 buggies was 6 or more to make a class. I know of 6-10 that are planning on it, so I would call it a pretty sure bet there will be an E-1/8 class. And there should be plenty of room for camping at litchfeild. hankster 04-28-2009, 03:28 PM Oh yeah, bring on the E-1/8's.... can't wait! airconde 04-28-2009, 03:48 PM I wanna run gasssssssssss 1/8 HANK I have a new gass grill to try out hankster 04-28-2009, 05:49 PM I wanna run gasssssssssss 1/8 HANK I have a new gass grill to try out Phzzzzzz.... should be electric :) sbrady#0 05-02-2009, 10:33 AM is it time to race yet?? I am ready to play in the dirt will it stop raining long enough to dry out Loony 05-02-2009, 10:36 AM What is the count down to? 14 days? I cant friggen wait. groundhogg 05-02-2009, 02:38 PM Anyone have a good starting setup for a Losi CRT at Litchfield? hankster 05-02-2009, 03:58 PM The Losi stock out of the box setup is pretty close IMHO. Might want to go 5 lighter on the shock oil. WarpWind 05-02-2009, 04:36 PM What about a setup for the xxx cr buggy? I don't even remember what weight oil is in my shocks anymore... Bill. carbon madness 05-02-2009, 09:39 PM is it time to race yet?? I am ready to play in the dirt will it stop raining long enough to dry out I wish it was time to race. Although on the bright side for me my local track opened up today so I got to play in the dirt already. As for the rain, after we started driving on the track around noon the track was starting to dry out really good. Will it rain later in the month all week again who knows. lol beefgravy 05-03-2009, 11:58 AM Hay ya all, Does litchfield have a campground near by, or camping on site? Thanks hankster 05-03-2009, 12:09 PM You can camp at the track. Loony 05-03-2009, 02:19 PM I think you can camp at all the tracks- except GR, I don't know if we can there, and if we can where the tents would go. Not very much flat areas. sbrady#0 05-03-2009, 04:04 PM maybe we could camp in the skating rink on the other side at BFG :cool: Loony 05-03-2009, 10:46 PM  kwiksi 05-04-2009, 07:18 AM Whats the motor rule for the Slash/SC class? beefgravy 05-04-2009, 08:40 AM Thanx guys..lol FishRC 05-04-2009, 09:15 AM Whats the motor rule for the Slash/SC class? The slashes have to run the Titan in the slash class. In the SC class it is the 17.5 or 21t stock class motors per the ROAR rules. For now we will allow the Titan in the SC class, but that may change during the year. J Blaze 05-04-2009, 04:43 PM so their will be 2 class?slash class and sc class? Fred B 05-04-2009, 06:47 PM Yes, 2 classes. Slash and the ROAR SC class. Loony 05-04-2009, 07:51 PM The slashes have to run the Titan in the slash class. A 12 turn motor against my 27 turn stock or my 17.5 brushless if It comes in time. Are 12 turn Titans as slow as a 27 turn? The way I understood it, It was Titan motors in the Slash spec class and 17.5 brushless in the SC class. Am I wrong? Loony 05-04-2009, 07:54 PM Oh and one more thing- Is this last years Stateline layout or the new one? http://statelinerc.com/images/stories/verysimple/Stateline1.jpg http://statelinerc.com/images/stories/verysimple/2008layout2.jpg Nevermind Its the 08 layout, It says in the properties. carbon madness 05-04-2009, 11:15 PM I would guess that we wouldn't see what the layout will look like until it gets closer to the race at state line. Just a few more weeks before the fun starts. :( lol Stateline R/C 05-05-2009, 06:38 AM http://i233.photobucket.com/albums/ee66/losininja/stl093.jpg http://i233.photobucket.com/albums/ee66/losininja/stl096.jpg http://i233.photobucket.com/albums/ee66/losininja/stl097.jpg http://i233.photobucket.com/albums/ee66/losininja/stl098.jpg http://i233.photobucket.com/albums/ee66/losininja/stl099.jpg http://i233.photobucket.com/albums/ee66/losininja/stl0910.jpg http://i233.photobucket.com/albums/ee66/losininja/stl095.jpg this is what we are starting with this year. The way I understood it, It was Titan motors in the Slash spec class and 17.5 brushless in the SC class. Am I wrong? The Titan is not a true 12 turn as most people would think about it and yes it is actually slower than a 27 turn and about dead even with a 17.5. The way I understood it, It was Titan motors in the Slash spec class and 17.5 brushless in the SC class. Am I wrong? In the SC class the Titan's will be allowed for now. During indoor racing this winter the Titan vs. a 17.5 was close. It is more the driver than the motor. The Titan might be a 12T, but hardly the performance of a tricked out brushed 12T. The other question we have is what will the durability of the Titan be on large outdoor tracks. So this is why the rules say Titan's are allowed for now, but could change. FishRC 05-05-2009, 09:14 AM http://i233.photobucket.com/albums/ee66/losininja/stl095.jpg this is what we are starting with this year. I see you added the drain trench for the monsoon we seam to have been getting on the MORL weekend. Should be fun! Always have fun at Stateline. airconde 05-05-2009, 09:38 AM Has anybody herd are they changing the Litchfeild layout or is it the same layout we've ran on for the last few years ? sbrady#0 05-05-2009, 05:36 PM some one said they are going ti change it but dont remember where I seen it Loony 05-05-2009, 06:18 PM In the SC class the Titan's will be allowed for now. Thanks Fish and Devil, I have no experience with a Titan motor and thank you for clearing that up. With the overheating problem I'm sure most Slash guys would run 17.5's anyway. But thanks for the quick reply. Loony 05-05-2009, 06:22 PM Has anybody herd are they changing the Litchfeild layout or is it the same layout we've ran on for the last few years ? I asked to come help work on the track but no one replied. 420 Tech R/C 05-05-2009, 07:27 PM The track looks HUGE kevin. Looks fun though. carbon madness 05-05-2009, 08:52 PM http://i233.photobucket.com/albums/ee66/losininja/stl093.jpg this is what we are starting with this year. That layout looks like a ton of fun. I can't wait to race on the track when the series runs there. For some reason I am really liking the stright down the center of the track. lol Also that is a huge dubble. :woohoo: Loony 05-05-2009, 09:01 PM Yeah thanks for the pics! Layout looks fun and Looooong...awesome. Any chance for a gas oval race on the Friday night before MORL? 420 Tech R/C 05-05-2009, 10:33 PM Yeah thanks for the pics! Layout looks fun and Looooong...awesome. Any chance for a gas oval race on the Friday night before MORL? Loony, they always run oval on fridays:thumbsup:That is the whole reason I LOVE going to stateline the day before the MORL event there!! You can practice off road durring the day , and race oval in the evening:hat:And kevin usually has a good sized 1/10 nitro turnout for the oval:thumbsup: Loony 05-05-2009, 11:02 PM Cool thanks 420... We will bring the GT with us. carbon madness 05-06-2009, 12:52 AM Sweet looks like I will get to have fun watching the oval racing that weekend as well. I don't think I will race any oval stuff, but that is a ways off so it is hard to say. lol airconde 05-06-2009, 09:37 AM Thanks Looney man. Stop over to my trailer fri .I hope they change the track or might haft to make a trip to stateline . Loony 05-06-2009, 12:44 PM Conde- Hell yeah I'm stopping by your trailer, I hear you make KILLER burgers! Everyone- Does anyone have a extra personal for sale, I have one but I would like another. Please PM me or find the Loony Racing camp at Litchfield. Thanks airconde 05-06-2009, 01:46 PM Xtra Pickels and a cold beverage Sir. mc-1 05-06-2009, 05:40 PM i think they will be running slash on friday nights this year also. Loony 05-06-2009, 07:08 PM Spec Slash and a 13.5 SC class would be fun. FishRC 05-08-2009, 08:55 AM Ok guys, I know this is crummy timming with only a week to go but I found out last night I messed up big on the tire rules I posted for the Slash and SC classes. I am sorry for this late change and ask for your forgiveness. Here is what they should be and have been changed to on the website. In the Slash class you must use the stockSlash tires. 1/10th offroad truck tires are not allowed. In SC class only tires that fit on the 2.2/3.0 or stock Slash wheel are allowed. No cut tires are allowed in the Slash or SC classes. Mac The Knife 05-08-2009, 10:23 AM So that eliminates running the proline switch tires and beadlocks, as they are a 2.2/2.2 rim and tire. FishRC 05-08-2009, 11:30 AM We would have to discuss it. I'm not sure. This is one of the inbetween things. The 2.2/2.2 rim is for the Slash. The Slash class requires the stock tire. A slash running in the SC class might have to switch to the 2.2/3.0 rims and tires. If we use a strict interpitaion. That was never discussed so I can't say yes or no to the 2.2/2.2 beadlocks on a Slash that is run in the SC class. The Proline Switch is available in the 2.2/3.0, Towerhobbies has wheels and some tires in stock for both the Slash and the SC10. This is a new class, we will have to adress this and other issues next Friday/Saturday as they come up. one18thscalerac 05-08-2009, 01:36 PM thats nice i hav the 2.2/2.2 beadlocks with the switch tires geuss i miss first round one18thscalerac 05-08-2009, 01:39 PM wonder if the slashes will be treated like the 1/18ths like toys that dont belong vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
