Thanks’ guys, no worries here. My personal goal is to keep everyone informed as best I can and take your comments and present them to the rest of the directors. As long as someone keeps a polite and respectful tone to their comments, I have no problem presenting those comments no matter how much I might agree or disagree with them. Thanks to Hank most of the comments here are far more toned down than other places I sometimes visit. That way I get to let Hank be the hammer when someone steps out of line here. :thumbsup:

If 6+ electric 1/8ths show up.. its a class and we will run it. If 1/8ths can get in 4 or more races, then it is for points. Same with modified SC class for the Slash and SC10. The modified SC class is open motor but all the rest of the rules are the same.

Schedule will be out soon. Hopefully next week but don't hold me to that.

Can't really say yes or no. We did discuss that we were not going to offer a super stock class. But never said that we would not offer it if they had 6+.

We (Battle Front Gaming and R/C and Fatal Impact Racing) are pleased to be a part of the 2009 MORL series. I raced in and worked the MARS series back in the 90's as a part of Rivertown Racers and am exicted about the resurgance of the series and the opportunity to bring a race back to Grand Rapids.

We look forward to putting on an event that will validate the board's decision to place us on the schedule.

Was nice to put names with faces at the meeting in Lansing yesterday.

I think M-40 is pretty much closed up according to an announcement late last year. Wish we would have kept Gobles.

The more I think about it, I think I did like the place. Sand not so much but I did enjoy the layout. Why is it gone for good?

MORL race is at M40 Jones.

M40 Jones did suspend their practice/club racing at the beginning of August last year. I don't know if they are planning on trying again this year or not. The website that was linked in their thread here on Hobby Talk appears to be down.
