Had a great time once the weather started to cooperate. Over 200 entries W O W !! Good seeing alot of you again and thanks to Mr. Fish for the shock cap so I could run one of my mains ! As I had all last year, very good time and I thought the track was set up pretty cool with the fruit loop  Thanks to everyone we had down by Beefs party palace, had alot of fun. Scott, next time you'll have to sit a little closer.

The first vid from Saturday is posted, kind of an out-takes from our normal HandyRacing RaceCam coverage... But you might like it:

Vid is here (http://blog.handyracing.com/2009/05/17/midwest-offroad-racing-league--litchfield-race-action.aspx)

He was the fellow from X Factory R/C in Ohio.

Stay tuned, I think the Race Vids for the Mains will pick up the "Calling the Shots" fairly well, and we all have a treat in store...

I hope it picked up really good, as after all you were right next to the speaker on top of the scoring hut. lol

That part might help a little...

: )

My JVC "HandyCam" does seem to do well with sound, I'm just hoping it handles night shooting as well. But even if it's all dark, the soundtrack should be a real hoot.

I hope to have the first couple vids posted tommorow evening.

Thanks

At first I had no idea what the heck fell out of your car, then it all made since why your car had a huge hole cut out of the windshield. I just wish I could have turned the camera right side up for the last part of your video. oh well, funny anyway. Look forward to seeing some Main videos.

I loaded the tape this afternoon while doing some chores, hope to start editing ASAP...

Thanks.

I was the "other guy" announcer and am happy to help any way I can. Had a blast! Sure was cold in that booth, and hard seeing cars across the track at night.

And the "cookie lady" forced so many of them in my mouth I gained three pounds!

A suggestion for the track owner: Put two more lights, one on each end of the driver's stand roof.

Had a great time as well. Seeing @ night wasn't as bad as people were saying it was. Yes the Anouncer was awesome. Only complaint for the weekend was lack of staging cars for mains. It was horrible. See you all @ Jones...........

BTW anyone looking for a B44?

Just wondering, if it were to rain when we are at Battlefront would we race on the indoor track?

That is the advantage of having an indoor track. I believe that is what the plan is. I will let someone from the MORL board make an official ruling. There are some details that would have to be worked out.

There are some details that would have to be worked out.

We could set up tables in the hockey area because your getting everyone on the tables.
Could the area to West (warhammer room) be cleaned out?
I'll help if you need it John. just ask...

John, are there any events scheduled for that weekend in the hockey half?

There will be a slot car track in the Warhammer area by then. Hockey area is a definite possibility. I am going to double check, but I am pretty sure the weekend is clear on the hockey side.

We will hope for as nice of weather as we had for the Region 5 race last year. It was perfect.
