So i bought the Sidewinder 5700 combo, hooked it up and it worked great for one run. Then the second i noticed it kinda started jumping, even at full throttle it would just hop and jump barely moving. Could this be a bad ESC or a bad connection between it and the battery? I am using the cheapo white plastic standard connectors for the time being.. any ideas?

Yes, I have the same setup, works good. First thing to do id get rid of that plastic junk, and get deans soldered on for a good connection. Also, you have to use a high quality battery to avoid glitching. With a bad connect or poor batt., I've experienced glitching myself a few times. Once you get that taken care of it, it runs like a raped ape, also make sure you're not geared to high and getting the motor hot. I have an xxxt, and use a 90 tooth spur with a 16 tooth pinion. I have went down to 15, but made the motor really hot after a 5min. heat. You'll notice a big diff. w/ the change of connectors!!!
