View Full Version : 2009 West Virginia State Championship
Ozzie 01-08-2009, 02:50 PM I thought I would start a thread here just for this race. We are expecting a great turnout as we have been getting 40 - 50 entries on regular race days. We will have a new track design just for this race. It is CRC carpet and we do accept personal transponders. I will also update this thread with items for door prizes as I get them. I will have a pre-registration form up within the next week. Post here with any questions you may have.

BRhodes 01-25-2009, 12:20 AM What are the rules for the pan car classes? Thanks.
Ozzie 01-26-2009, 09:13 AM here is a link to our stock pan car rules:
http://ovrccc.com/Rules/Class/Pan%20Car.htm
Our Nastruck class runs the same rules as pan car except with the following changes:
2 cell lipo only
21.5 brushless motor only (any name brand)
nas truck body only
Will try to get the Nastruck rules up on our rules page. This is kind of a new class for us this year.

Thanks. What are the rules for 2 cell Lipo? Any size or brand? Bob
Ozzie 01-26-2009, 10:52 AM Nope, no limits on size (mAH) or brand as long as it is a 2 cell, 7.4 volt ROAR approved lipo (hard case). All lipos must be charged in a lipo bag or ammo box.

Hey man, slap a 4 cell in yours and put you in a stock or 17.5 brushless and run with the stock guys, most of us are brushless anyways..

I would love to but I do not own any more 4 cell packs. We run 21.5 lipo but we run under BRL rules which uses the Smc 3200 28c pack only. I cannot see buying a batt for just one race. Bob

thunder44 02-06-2009, 07:07 PM What is the body rule for 17.5 4 cell. Back cut out or in.
Yeah back's cut out, most do anyways, Wing or no wing, but it's not needed. All Roar approved Pan car bodies, at this time no COT bodies allow. Ride Height is 3mm, Weight is 40 oz with personal transponder and 40oz without in house transponder, Any Roar Approve stock (27 Turn) or Brushless 17.5 motors. We run 6 mins heats and 6 mins mains. We usually draw between 10 to 15 pan cars and each week and run both a B and A Mains, Any brand Roar approve batteries, most run 4600, not sure on 5300's yet, may have to check with Tech.. Hope to see you come out, do some warm up races prior to.
We are having a "Slowbirds Race" (trophied) Feb 15th, check out details on our web site. www.ovrccc.com (http://www.ovrccc.com)

Turtletrax 02-19-2009, 08:49 PM Is there going to be a Losi slider class at championship? If so what are you allowed to change on them from stock?
Ozzie 02-20-2009, 09:39 PM If you are talking about the 10th scale slider then yes we are having that class. Pretty much the only rules are: must be a ROAR approved battery and must be rubber tire. If you have any more questions feel free to ask.
