Announcing the inaugural Rat-Raze @ Rug-Ratz Razeway in Macon GA. Track will open for practice Friday Feb 27 @ 8am and close @ 10pm. Feb 28 track will open @ 7am for controlled practice (30 minute sessions) and racing will begin @ noon.

Classes:

Novice Break Out- Pan car with car or truck body, any power source, minimum 4 second lap time

Break Out-Same as Novice but minimum lap time is 3.8 seconds

21.5 lipo- Novak motor only, 140 inductance minimum, stock rotor. ROAR approved lipo batteries up to 3200 mah. Minimum weight is 38oz.

17.5 lipo-ROAR motor, ROAR battery up to 5000 mah. Minimum weight is 40oz.

Entry is $20.00 for first class and $10.00 for each additional class.

PERSONAL TRANSPONDER REQUIRED

Jack the Gripper is the only traction compound allowed.

Cliff, how many qualifiers are you going to do? and will the quals and mains all be on the same day (sat)?

We will run 3 quals and a Main. There will be a resort after the second round of qualifying. Everything will be run on the same day.

Really... Didn't know that. It would of helped out alot Sunday. My pack had to be 45 degrees because I was 40!!!!

Kat the stand is permanent so drag yer but up here and race. We are all getting used to the carpool thing. Jerry you can heat them up and when you are not heating the batteries with the pad, you can sit on it, lol

No tires that smell like paragon allowed in the building or on the track. Jack the gripper is the only compound allowed.

Yes there will be voltage checks and all motors will be teched

points will be awarded during this race as well

I am working on the hotel as we speak, usually the Holiday inn in Warner Robins helps us out but I am exploring 2 more, will post them this week.

Cliff, The warmup race for the speedway spectacular is the same weekend at hobbyworld. Might not get the Fla. boys.
That's where I'll be also.
It would be nice if all the track owners would get together so this kind of thing wouldn't happen. Oh Well!!

Jerry I scheduled this race months ago and HW chose to schedule their race on top of ours even after I asked them to reschedule. We pretty much knew who would be where that weekend so I'm not surprised. It's all about the local guys who support the track on a regular basis anyway. Thanks to their oversite and unwillingness to cooperate with us on this matter all of the guys from here that wanted to go to their race won't be able to attend either, Same ole (*&%&%) different race!

I know, I wish I could be at both. I do enjoy racing at your track and I'm going To start racing there pretty regular after the speedway spectacular. I didn't know you asked them to reschedule the race, But it sounds about right. IMOA they have the best track in Fl. and somehow seem to run people away!
Anyway, Things could change.... Maybe I'll see you on the 28th

Jerry we always enjoy having you up and I agree the Jax track is the bomb but this schedule thing bites, makes me want to stay home in March for a change, only thing they would miss is the entry fee, lol. Anyway it should be a lot more pleasant temperature wise after March for sure.
