Or where to get parts etc. Dan traxxas_trucks 01-06-2009, 01:41 PM Do you mean water cooled or fan cooled:confused: X man 01-06-2009, 01:52 PM Brushless motors For oval racing Thanks Dan King Dork 01-06-2009, 07:31 PM X man, here are a couple easy ways to do it. Pick up a Losi fan mount kit (LOSA4151 cost is about $5). This is the fan mount for the XXX-T CR that mounts on top of the gear box and positions the fan directly above the motor. It's very easy to modify the mounting holes if need be. Then bolt on the cooling fan of choice and plug it into an open spot in your receiver or use a y-harness if needed. Or, both Novak and Integy make kits for Novak motors that do not have a motor guard around the motor (like most 2wd off road chassis have). They include a heat sink sleeve that replaces the motor's center sleeve, and also a cooling fan (the Integy also includes a y-harness as well). Either of these will set you back around $26. The Losi mount can be found at Amain and the Novak and Integy fan kits I found at Tower Hobbies. Hope this helps. OvalTrucker 01-06-2009, 08:02 PM I think he means one of these.... Incidentally, this one is for sale. It's a MuchMore Motor Cooler. http://i262.photobucket.com/albums/ii100/OvalTrucker/DSCF0225.jpg http://i262.photobucket.com/albums/ii100/OvalTrucker/DSCF0226.jpg X man 01-07-2009, 10:29 AM Just got one on ebay last night Any specifics in using it Thanks Dan hankster 01-07-2009, 01:07 PM Don't forget that many larger races have started to outlaw the use of motor coolers.
