Both of these cars required some work to get them right. 'The Hammer' was missing the side window and luckily the seller managed to get one from Spark.

Mirage had unclear plastic on headlights, so I had to clean them. But the biggest problem was wavy windshield, probably deformed by the strong heat.
I created a new windshield from the clear plastic foil, and had to do quite some samples to make the one that fits properly.

I really wish Spark strengthened its quality control. They put so much effort in the presentation and detailing it's sad that models with such flaws reach customers. But otherwise thumbs up for them to produce such cool models. :thumbsup:

Yes, I tried to make a period-correct German plates:
S is for Stuttgart
HM is for Hammer
and 1986 is the year Hammer was first released (although I think this one is a 1987 version)

Love the Merc! Old school and red! Very creative with the plates, btw. Nice job and nice cars.

Thanks! Red is a cool color, although I would love to see a black Hammer in coupe version. I hope Spark makes one in the future.
