Which novak esc is better to use when running a novak 21.5 motor with a lipo battery. does it make a difference if its the GTB or the GTB 4 CELL or would both esc's work? thank you

both will work, the gtb 4 cell does not have lipo cut off so in effect you could run the battery to low, but that will take more than the 4 minutes of race time.

Can lipo cut off be added to the GTB 4 CELL? if so what has to be done and where does it need to be done. i have the novak GTB 4 CELL #1714 its not the speed spektrum #1715 or does it make a difference which is used.

im not sure of the part number but novak has an item called the smart stop its a lipo cut off you can add.

Been running the 4cell GTB all season with no problems. In practice, just make sure you don't stay on the track too long. you don't want a 2 cell lipo to go below 6 volts.

The GTB box I have says Li-Po CUT OFF CIRCUITRY? Back of the box says use with 2-cell Li-Po packs. SHould be alright then yes?

yes just follow the instrustions and make sure you turn the cut off on ... the defalt is off. Also your probably not going to get close to the lipo cut off unless your out there running for 10 minutes....chances are you will thermal first.
