Hi Gang,
We are getting ready to open an indoor flat oval track. Surface is concret with asphalt sealer. Ive tried running some of my 15 year old cars on it and found that foam tires work best, also found that not much suspension is needed.
My 1st problem came when i tried to find a low cost car package that the younger group (10yrs to 16yrs) could afford. Need a ready to run package (Radio, Car, Battery and Charger. Need it to be in the 200.00 range like the old Bolink flat plate chassis. Is there anything out there that fits this bill? or is there someone out there that produces the parts that i could build with the kids.
My 2nd problem is finding a low cost lap counting system.

Does anyone know the link to Kanardlys????

Thank You for Your Time and any Help You Could Give Me!!!

Ken

For a car that's RTR try the losi mini late model. They come with first battery, overnight ( I think ) charger, ALL electronics TX,ESC and servo. The motor is fast enough at stock gearing for an more experienced racer and great for the beginner. These mini cars come out of the box basically ready to go....THEY even come with batteries in the TX if I remember right. They run between 180 and 200 bucks. OH forgot to say the bodies come painted and decaled. The decals come off real easy so a driver can do something "custom". Just carefully get them started and then clean with denatures alcohol then add decals and or number to your desire.
