Oooooo - I did that once with a Tomy Corvette. Plopped it in and forgot about until about 3 days later. The roof was all mushy into the quarters. :(

i just made a full repaint for myself trying to strip one coat of paint off a car,with candy red underneath,had to strip all the paint off down to plastic .the plastic is fine,but it's a shame about the candy paint...i used pinesol too...

i recently pooched a perfectly good ferrari 512m by trying to get a better fit on the glass.cracked the window post...and,as the magnatraction chassis fits so tight to the hard,inflexible plastic bodies,i also managed to break the side panel off while i was at it!arrrgh,all thumbs that day.a little zap glue fixed everything,but still...i had another one,but a set of two was nice on the track...good thing they aren't rare or anything...

Sadly no pictures were taken.. I was astounded to find three coats of paint on that wrecker.. It was originally a dark blue body:cry: that was painted with some weird silver paint that didn't want to completely come off. It had a gold and red coat over it. The silver that did come off was all over my hands so I wasn't about to handle my camera. It went straight to the garbage.. It's ok.. I have two more.. But the blue was a nice color.. :(
