What is the C number on a lipo mean? I am in the market for a lipo, but do not know much about them. I do know that I want a 5000 mah, and I think I like the packs that dont have the leads on them. Any recomendations?

The C rating refers to the discharge rate of the battery in relation to it's capacity. Simply put, how many amps can it put out while discharging. The higher the C rating, the better the pack. One thing you have to keep in mind is there is NO industry standard on rating a pack, every manufacturer is different, so a 30c pack from one company could be better than a 35c pack from another company.
Your best bet at this point is SMC. Danny has a firm grasp on this lipo thing and his products seem to out perform anything else I've seen. I've seen some decent Trinity packs as well, but those belonged to a team driver.
If the pack has detachable leads, that is a nice feature, although as far as performance goes, it makes no difference. Just remember, keep your wires as short as possible for the least amount of resistance.
