Well after an exciting 08 Windtunnel is working on a bunch of new products as you about imagine. I would like to thank eveyone for an outstanding 2008. Spring sales were better than ever in "08" with "09" looking even better.
In addition to adding the aluminum caster blocks for the WT Strut front end a number of new products are in the works as well as upgrading some of the current items.
Customers, hobby shops you make this happen & I would personally like to thank all of you for your support in "08" & into 2009. Keep an eye here for new product announcements because they will be coming quickly. Good luck to all the racers in 09

I have had some questions in regard to the Babies and Big Baby springs in how they compare to the associated. They are in fact the same thing. Windtunnel has every spring for every need for 1/10th and 1/12th scale cars, front or rear. Another area where the Pro CS springs have been beyond popular is in the dirt cars. I ton of racers that do dirt racing have been ordering the Pro CS because they have been getting beat by them. Every spring for every need and then some. Dont forget. Windtunnel does OEM, dealers and distributors. This is another area where Windtunnel have become very popular. Keep Windtunnel in mind when you need to improve your cars performance. We also do drag tires as well for those of you doing drag cars

It has come to our attention that the Windtunnel 1/12th scale Firebird Dirt Oval Wedge body is a really good fit for the Losi Late Model. You may need to trim the front bumper on the Losi Chassis a little but other then that it looks like a very good fit. So, for you Losi drivers, here is a little variety for a body. Part #WT2007

The wheel base of all our 1/18th scale bodies is 5 3/4"

http://www.windtunnelracingproducts.com/index.php?cPath=42_27_174

We have the width at the front and rear listed for each 1/18th body. We plan on doing some updating on our website for these bodies in the near future, such as painted shells.

Hope that helps. If you have anymore questions just ask away.

This morning we updated all the measurements of our (6) 1/18th scale bodies. Wheel Base, Length, Width at the Front Wheels, and Width at the Rear Wheels. All measurements are in inches and mm.

http://www.windtunnelracingproducts.com/index.php?cPath=42_27_174

Also keep in mind (for you smaller scale racers) that our 1/12th scale bodies seem to be a good fit for the Losi Late Model.

I did a little updating on the pictures for our 1/18th scale lexan bodies. Pictures of clear Lexan just didn't cut it, so I painted the shells for these bodies. I'll do more detailing later.

Just finished looking at the racers edge car bag on your web site. Was just wondering, on the top of the case wear you would put the tools if there is a tool holder like the ones the trinity and team magic bags have, to put the allen wrenchs and so forth.
Thanks

The Racer's Edge bag has a large storage cavity at the top. You can partition this area yourself to make smaller storage areas. They are a nice large bag. I use one myself.

can you explain what the v-hive and barrel springs do that are diff.
Thanks Tom

MURDOCKRC
02-12-2009, 01:30 PM
The "Barrell" shaped springs are superior in every way and function compared to other springs. They work completely different from other springs. If you looking for the "EDGE" then the barrel shapes are the way to go. Front end, sides, or Center they will give you the advantage needed to go fast and win.
