Does anyone have any experience with this model #PS-10M 0 - 20 VDC , 10 AMP POWER supply. It is sold by seller on-the-inside on ebay.
I just set up my 4 lane sg AFX track. I have it set up using one wall pack per lane right now, but I would like something nicer. Anyone have one of these ?
Thanks, Russell

Sounds a lot like the PS10AD by MG that I have. 0-20V, 10A. I have been completely satisified with mine.

Here is a link about the #PS-10M. Scroll down to the bottom of the page...

LD, it looks like your link has gone away.

But I know what power supply you are referring to...

I have this power supply for my layout. It works well & I like the adjustment
settings. Depending on amps needed, it is restricted to 10 amps. Overall,
I would recommend the product. :)

Thats the one I am talking about. Does it have good instructions about hooking it up ?

I also use that power supply and love it.

As far as hooking it up goes, that depends on how your track is wired.

TYCO X2 power packs, one per lane on SG AFX track. So how much trouble am I going to have, and will I have to use fuses ? And is 10 amps more than I have now?
Thanks, Russell

Remove the current power packs. Tie the positive and negative inputs to the track together seperatley to make a single positive and a single negative input. I would use about a 6 amp fuse on one of the lines from the PS. Ideally, the lanes should be fused too. 10 A is a ton more current capacity than you will get from "wall wart" style supplies.
