Outdoor track is getting better each time and this current layout is by far the best one to date. Here is a link to a MT truck heat from last weekend. http://videos.streetfire.net/video/rc-racing-at-rochester-in_689400.htm And a video of the B-Main buggy class. Was getting pretty dark and still had 2 classes to run afterwards. http://videos.streetfire.net/video/night-rc-racing-at-61309_689417.htm Videos taken from RRCP website. http://www.phpbbserver.com/rochesterrc/index.php?mforum=rochesterrc calrosse 06-25-2009, 06:42 AM Where are you guys located at. CClay1282 07-16-2009, 12:16 AM Any stadium trucks running? kurtblastoff 07-29-2009, 10:22 PM A few of us from the fort are planning on making the trip, August 15. Wanted to get to get some info from people who race there regularly or have ran there before. Basically whats the track like? Smooth, rough, big jumps, that kind of stuff. What tires work? Thanks, John:thumbsup: kurtblastoff 07-29-2009, 10:23 PM For 1/8 scale that is, sorry I didnt say jettvolks 11-27-2009, 01:21 AM Short course getting popular already this year and gas 10th truck showing some good turnouts also. Running everything but 1/8th scale and MT's indoors. 1/16th scales showing up more and more also. Great track indoors with the newely expanded area. Come on out and check it out. Directions are here. http://www.rochesterrc.net/location.jpg Track is located just about a mile and half west of US 31 (just north of HWY14). Easy to get to and a great bunch of guys to race and hang out with. Also check out the website for pics and info. http://rochesterrc.net/ clarkwhoracing 11-27-2009, 08:34 AM Looks really nice!! jettvolks 12-11-2009, 08:42 AM Short Course getting really interesting. Last week we had all the ones out right now (Strike, Slash, SC10, and Blitz) on the track at the same time. Made for some great close racing action. Great bunch of guys running these and just an out right FUN class. Gas 10th truck also showing good numbers with some close racing as well. Kinda makes me want to get back into one after watching the regulars running these.;) Don't let the cold stop you from coming out and giving the track a try. Brian (Owner) has the furnace in place and should be up and running soon. Salamanders are doing the job for now but will be nice and toasty once the furnace gets running. jettvolks 01-24-2010, 11:29 AM http://rochesterrcpark.webs.com/apps/forums/ This is the new website. I raced at your last outdoor race in the fall of 2009 and won a gift certificate. On the gc it requires me to fill in the race date and race directors name, can you let me now this info please? Thanks, Dirtman. jettvolks 03-01-2010, 09:50 PM Dirtman, Get ahold of Dustin on the site he can fill you in on the details. He's the race director. Which GC did you get? I won one of the Amain ones and didn't need any special info just the number off the GC to redeem mine. dirtmanwink 03-02-2010, 01:10 AM It's a JConcepts. I may not need the info, but don't want to send it in and have a ton of run-a-round! airconde 03-02-2010, 11:31 AM What was the results from the Irornman race. jettvolks 03-02-2010, 04:48 PM Here ya go Conde. http://www.rochesterrcpark.com/22010.pdf jettvolks 04-14-2010, 10:13 PM Well the new outdoor track is laid out and being worked in. Should be a very fast layout from the looks of it. Saturday should be the first running of the new outdoor track. I believe I was told the dimensions now are in the 150x75 foot range. The indoor track is still runable due to the track getting more clay for the outdoor and leaving the indoor in place. Rain days are not a problem. Just be warned that no 1/8th are running indoors in case of a rain out. Races are Saturday but talk of putting on a Sunday show also are in the works. Anyone want to run Sundays? Join the new improved site http://rochesterrcpark.com/ and let them know. I know I would love to have a track to run on Sunday.;) There are some pics of the track construction in the Trackwork forum under multimedia on the forum. kings kid 04-20-2010, 06:11 PM 1/8th are running indoors in case of a rain out.[/QUOTE] looks like some ran last weekend...... jettvolks 04-20-2010, 08:03 PM Rick, They moved indoors last Sat. due to the high winds. I figured they were going to follow the previous indoor rules with no MT's or 1/8th but probably made an exception since they moved indoors. I have been working Saturdays and am for the next two months on every Saturday.:( Looks like I won't be running much in the future.
