Left to right: Paul Tracey car with SRT magnets fitted, my friend's Bourdais car in standard spec, and the Red Bull car with the ceramic tractions I had made fitted.

Just sharing.

No beef, just wondering.

I guess I just thought, whilst taking pictures of my friend's McD car before I have to part with it (:(), that I would take a snap showing there are already three configurations possible for this great new chassis.

Of course the real interest will lie in the lap times....

So what was the difference in lap times? Those SRT mags look dark, is it the lighting?

Montoya1, have you and your clubmates had a chance to test the three different magnet setup? I'd like to see the results. There have been numerous posts about tuning and de-tuning the Mega-G. Showing that there are at least three types of traction magnets to run in the car is sweet and useful. as you noted, the proof in the pudding will be a comparison of lap times and "driveability". Pretty please?

Hutts are inquisitive but don't have Montoya1, Inc., ceramic magnets.

Yeah...hows the performance of each grade increase...

BTW...anyone have a source for SRT mags AND the mag clip?

No testing done so far, but hopefully soon.

The SRT mags are actually more shiney that the MG ones, as well as 0.5mm thicker, so easy to tech :)
