i was at the track last weekend and noticed that my buggy (gs storm) had alot of sag to it and everytime i would land a jump it bottomed out. anybody have some ideas what i can do. i also noticed that the 8ight that was running was just so smooth suspension wise may get those shocks. my engine also runs out of top end in about 100 ft.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Is this a real question? Its not the brand of shocks its the maintenance(shocks are not head and shoulders above each other, proper setup is key). When did you rebuild your shocks last(I do before every race)? Do you know how to rebuild and setup shocks? Maybe somebody at your track can show you how to bleed, set sag and other things. I run a cl-1 and the shocks are great just as good as my 8t. As far as engine go up a tooth or 2on the bell but dont overdo it or you will put the clutch under excessive strain and not accellerate as hard out or corners

i rebuilt my shocks the day before i went to the track bled them and all it just seems as if they arent strong enough my buggy is about 6 yrs old and havent raced in about 5 yrs. my front dogbones are even when it is sitting and the backs are slightly pitched up and i put 50wt oil in the shocks.

Shocks do nothing to hold your buggy up, it is the springs that do that.

Make sure bump stops (if you have them) are un-screwed

maybe the shock pistons holes are to large... with too soft of springs will make it do that.. my jammin i had did that alot. change the shock pistons to a smaller dia. hole and try a little bit stronger spring and that should take care of the bottoming out problem. Just add a tooth to the clutch bell or a tooth smaller on the spur gear. bigger clutch bell gives you a little more top end but the spur will give you a little more than the clutch bell

Read Hank's post!!! "Shocks do nothing to hold your buggy up, it is the springs that do that. "
If you vehicle is sagging, the shock preload on the springs is not enough. If you are slapping and bottoming out.. then the shock oil or pistons in harmony with the spring choice needs work. Read your manual for help too.
