you guys have any tips on making a rc10b4 more durable?

we run 2wd transmission cars, stock motor, late model body, and custom work foam dirt tires. most guys are running b4's or some form of a b4. would you guys upgrade any parts to aluminum? i've thought about running aluminum shock towers, front bulkhead, and a rear chassis plate. would go full aluminum but parts would get tweaked too easily then. I understand parts are gonna break regardless, but you can always make things better in the rc world. thanks guys

I love figure 8 racing we use to run it in on road touring cars and the spectators loved to watch it too. we had alot of close calls but if you time it right you wont have as many wrecks.

i love the stuff, definitely some of my favorite racing. i could honestly care less about getting the timing right. its just a fun class to run. i don't believe any of the guys take the racing seriously like other classes. just trying to build a sled that will take a couple kisses from fellow drivers in the middle. :woohoo:

lol, that's how i roll man. the chassis breaking was a fluke, i hope. but the parts i usually break are front shock towers, stripped out front bulkheads, rear arm mounts, and wing mounts. i just don't wanna fix these issues than have a whole new set to deal with.

last weekend sucked man. damn starter went out on my van, so we thought. ended being a loose wire on the starter. i'll be up there this weekend for sure.

We are trying to get Figure-8 racing going at our dirt oval. The owners started it out as an open 1/10 scale class for cars that race in any of the other classes. I've run a touring car and they seem to be the most competitive. I love fig-8s and race them with real cars also, check out my youtube vids.

As far as bulking up your B4, the only think I'd say is be careful what you switch to aluminum. If you make something unbreakable, the next weakest link will break then. Build some nice bumpers.
