View Full Version : have any of you folks raced on one of these? pickeringtondad 12-30-2008, 02:53 PM http://www.slotcarsinc.com I'm interested in their sectional tracks. PickeringtonDad 1976Cordoba 12-30-2008, 03:13 PM Nope -- but I like the 5' x 8' oval track. LOW ET 12-30-2008, 03:16 PM not yet, but i will be buying a drag strip from them. ampracing99 12-30-2008, 05:17 PM wow, i really like this and the price isn't to bad, i might invest in one in a couple months, very nice, shon Bill Hall 12-30-2008, 05:38 PM Me LIKEY! slotcarman12078 12-30-2008, 05:56 PM Keyboard is drool covered..... dang it!!! I'm wondering how much this track will flex for rises and banks.. And how much work it would be to put in a RR crossing or two..... Hmmmm..... I guess I have a 2 track mind....:freak: UtherJoe coach61 12-30-2008, 05:58 PM the oval is on sale on ebay for 199 Coach! Yoshi Nagura 12-30-2008, 06:06 PM I like the drag strip idea, I wonder what the race management system will look like. I've always wanted to do drags but I want a comprehensive system with red-lighting and ET posting. There was a place in Stockton when I was in my early teens that did 1/32nd scale drags and they had a full tree with handicapping and ET measuring. tight off 12-30-2008, 06:30 PM Never have, but if I do I'll be sure to snap in the "Dead Axle". I wish everybody a safe and Happy New Year. Tuckmaster. LOW ET 12-30-2008, 06:31 PM here you go yoshi http://www.trackmateracing.com/shopdisplayproducts.asp?id=19&cat=%3Cimg+src%3D%22images%2Fimages%5Fheader%2Farr ow%5Fred2%2Egif%22++border%3D%220%22%3EDrag+Racing Montoya1 12-30-2008, 06:56 PM I'd be interested if they did Tomy adapters. NTxSlotCars 12-30-2008, 08:00 PM I like the idea. I wonder how the round rail compares to AFX rail downforce wise. I would be very interested in a banked track using this stuff. Rich tight off 12-30-2008, 09:42 PM What if you cut say 10 to 20 degrees off of the 180 and pull to parallel or for that matter any turn. Cut short and bend to match any layout. Great set up and I for one would love to see your company grow. How about a cut and splice kit for those who want to use your product to build a custom layout? Tuckmaster H.O. racer 12-30-2008, 10:02 PM I've never seen it, but I'd like to try it out. brownie374 12-30-2008, 10:16 PM I have been eyeballing them myself.Nice prices. They should pick out a hobbytalker to set one up and review it.I would even volunteer. wheelszk 12-30-2008, 10:27 PM Here's another one for you, www.cnccustomcutting.com  mahorsc 12-30-2008, 11:26 PM we order and paid for 2 drag strips from slot car inc on oct 9 the track were to be shipped 1 week later did not happen we got the tracks at about the 6 week mark they were missing some of the wire taps we ordered 1 piece rail got pieces. the rail was to be sent here it is dec 30 still have not recieved rail or stickers we had became a dealer for them can not sell the track or race with no rail now we have conf # on the rail and it is invalid they seem to be nice guys but not good busn men sorry but we will not recomend them at this point and can not tell you if track is any good or not mahorsc 12-30-2008, 11:28 PM i have talked to this guy super nice and know several racer that have raced on his tracks say the are super and in feb i am going to oder a track from him plans are drawn up with him just waiting on little more $$$$ Here's another one for you, www.cnccustomcutting.com  AfxToo 12-31-2008, 09:56 AM I would never buy a track like this unless I had personal experience running on it or had a very close racing colleague who could attest to the track's running capabilities and quality from having run on it. There are plenty of excellent track system vendors out there and some of the established ones that we are all familiar with are still in business after all of these years for a number of very good reasons. This vendor may eventually join the ranks of the good ones, but we'll have to wait and see. wheelszk 12-31-2008, 10:12 AM Here's another one for you, www.cnccustomcutting.com  I have run on this track and so has Hiram Durant, and others from the East Coast. This is a very nice and well thought out track. I have a Max Trax on order, (my 2nd one) or I would be getting A TKO track. I may just sell my Max and order one of these, that's how nice these tracks are. Bill roadrner 12-31-2008, 02:06 PM Would love to run on one. Anything with less sections would be a thrill. :) rr vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
