A superb casting - Lesney changed the Hoveringham company all orange livery by adding the dark red color to the chassis and cab - a real 1.1 of this casting is preserved today in the UK in the all orange Hoveringham colours,and perhaps the owner was inspired by the Matchbox toys!
I found a new old stock K1 in the 1st issue all card box back in 1979 in my local toyshop, so after from 4 early childhood Kings, this was my 5th and is still my 3rd favourite today after the Guy Warrior car transporter and the GMC Fruehauf rig

That's a nice casting.
