There's part of the problem leading to where GM is now, that car is brand new and it's still a piece :freak:

jedimario, guess I don't understand your comment. This car, in its day, had the best price/performance of any muscle/pony car. I had the first IROC-Z shipped into Lexington, KY. It was black with gold trim. Main difference between mine and the one in the video is that mine had the Lear Siegler seats with repeating Camaro in the stipes, and it had the 5.0 TPI with automatic (couldn't get manual with TPI at that time) instead of the carbueratored version with 5-speed. I had the car for eight years and had 60K miles, and it still looked and ran like new. Then, a 60 foot tree fell on it in a storm. If that hadn't happened, I'd still have the car today. My KY tag was "IROC-Z". I liked the way that car sounded better than any car I've owned, including my current driver, an '02 Vette, or my '68 GTO which I am the original owner of.

The only thing I don't understand is why the IROC in the video had the wheels and tires it did. The cars shipped with the correct wheels. I guess somone took a liking to them before the car was put in that trailer.

Well, the wheels are one of the bigger problems I see with it. But that interior, yuck! No way I'd want to sit in that thing, or ever drive a car that color (I think there's a dull brown under all that dust?).

Maybe it was fast, I don't know, but even without years of wear that car does not appeal to me for reasons that I think many people who do not particularly care about Camaros or Chevys one way or the other would agree with.

Only problem with saying they were the best muscle car as far as performance goes is that they werent that great at all lol.

none of them that body style in my opinion were power hosese like alot of the camaro boys i know think they were.

I would agree with Jed on the interior, what a mess. ive driven them and ridden in them not comfortable at all.

The wheels are not an indicator since no Camaro was ever shipped with wheels like that. The interior of that car is light gray, not brown. It was the base interior. That's why I ordered the upgraded interior.
Here's what the car in the trailer looked like when it was new and clean and with the right wheels.

Not my IROC, but similar to what mine looked like.
Here's my Goat. I've had it longer than I've had four of my five kids.
Original paint, top, interior. Factory disc brakes and A/C.
