Just messing with ya, Brian...that's an impressive fleet though!

Ken, how wide is the pod on that car and can that speedo tab hold a BL ESC?

2.23 ish and I have mounted a GTB and a LRP in vertical fashion using double back tape in that tab. Looking at the chassis you wouldn't think its possible but it is. I never did get to try a tekin in it but I am sure it would fit. Not much room to work with in an SK chassis..lol

Whats a Rip car ?

It's one of the ones that beat us fairly regularly!! :drunk:

I can only think of 1 RIP that beats us reguarly the other is a LE car. Other then that they all are good just think Dan you where in the A main at the last big race with what is probably the oldest car and held your own with the exception of the 2 above mentioned.
And remember what you told me that day you hit the nail on the head.

Hey Jim if maximus ran 8 cars in the main like they use to a KSKD would have been in the a main for that nor easter race --Yea an SK car..... the 8th car sat on the pole of the B main. Kind makes ya think with all the tech a piece of fuel tubing a damper tube can still get the job done.lol

Doesn't matter what the car is or LOOKS like, the key to a good car is in the steering wheel.

yes and no.... a good design of a car helps... if you have front hole placement out of place...few degrees of revers rear steer....ahhh then it would matter..plenty of other for instances but it doesn't matter...

I have seen this alot, we have sold cars used and new to customers, they pick up laps from there old car. A lot of avg racers have stepped up there game.

If is a really big word, Ken...
"IF" all the guys that generally run the big races,
had been there
I wouldn't have made the A-main...
And been lucky to made the B.
I'm not kidding myself into thinking I'm A-main
competition with the likes of the Salvas', Hargrave, Nick,
Zarelli, types, etc. etc..... who were not there....
So you shouldn't kid yourself into thinking an SK
"would" have been in the A...
And it would have probably taken 61 to make the A..
and a fast 60 to make the B....
had they been in da house..
I didn't notice how fast the SK's went at that race,
so I wouldn't want to say "WOULD" have...
I do know that in the past, they were around 2 laps
off the pace... comparing the best of both classes.

I have noticed that some days the track will take a 60,
other days, the best might be 58...
It's tough to say "would" no matter who or what
you are talking about, when there is no
data for comparison....

ooo here we go thinking neg again. All I said was if they ran 8 cars like they usually do it WOULD have made the show that day. it made and attempt to qualify in the show and would have, had it been a 8 cars in the main, all in all it still made a good showing and pleased with it, considering this guy has ran there a handfull of times vs people who live there with $400 cars. Sorry this isnt a KSKT thread,,,bye...

oh from what he told me and looking at the results, daryl ran 59 4:00flat with the Dual SK car...NO SHOCKS

And all I said was "IF" is a mighty big word..
It's not negative thinking at all.
"IF" those other guys had raced, neither of us would
have been in the B.
That's all I said..
"IF" you had been there last week,
you probably would have won the A-main.
Howz that....

Man... don't be so defensive..
if you can't even discuss something without getting
touchy, when someone points out reality then by all means...
bye bye 2 U 2

Pretty impressive.. he did a great job.
Gotta admit, the new combo SK modified/pan car was a
neat idea. Sure have come a long way from the original
SK concept....
