Happy Holidays to all posters on Hobby Talk, and may 2009 bless us with more equally amazing diecast as 2008

This fine Politoys Muira is in superb shape, the yellow paint has 3 small chips on shut lines and much of the chrome has worn off the sills and hood grilles, otherwise its lovely, and this was top of my wants list at the beginning of Žo8

One of the rarest standard Corgi issues, the Dutch police version of the Porsche 911 - instead of the black seats and red trim of the common German issue this has dayglo orange with similar coloured seats. In very good shape, found at our local toyfair for $15 :)

A fine mid 1970s casting of the VW411 - unusual choice for 1/43 back when it was cast-almost mint:)

2 rare beaters -an early French Dinky Citroen 2cv and a Dinky Vauxhall Victor 101

Marklin Ford Capri in an authentic 1968 colour, and early mint issue made c1970.My first from this company, very difficult to find outside Germany or ebay
Too good to be left in the beater box, this standard common Ford Cortina Mk3 cost only $5

Who made that VW 411? Is it a Politoy or a Mebetoy? Or is it Spanish? I do not recognize it. The black hood looks a bit odd and it seems as if there is a non-stock (or at least non-German) decorative grille in the front.

Its Gama of Germany, catalog no 9491 .It has a large chrome numberplate on the front, and the standard VW badge has added wings which is Gama original design and I assume VW 1.1 design. The 70y.o. collector I bought this from used to be a VW salesman before he retired

Thanks. I have not seen that Gama 411 before. The wheels must be unique to that model; I do not recognize that pattern from any other Gama model of that vintage. The contrasting hood color is something that seems like a Gama trait from the '70s; I think I must have a Gama somewhere in my collection with that feature. Odd model; glad you posted the photo. I'd buy one too if I ever run into one but not too many Gamas made it to the mountain west.
