Two Nimrod NRA/C2s were entered in the 1982 race, the #31, was driven by Bob Evans / Tiff Needell / Geoff Lees. Unfortunately, the #31 retired due to accident damage.

Evans, Needell & Lees were all professional racing drivers - Needell & Lees also competed, albeit very briefly, in F1 - so it was somewhat ironic that the #32, piloted by a team of gentleman drivers, actually came home in 7th!
