Ok this is a really dumb question but im not very mechanically inclined.
I purchased a new go kart for the kids this X-mas and it was delivered today. The instructions for connecting the gas line to the engine simply says attach hose to carburetor. In looking at the carburetor there looks like there are a couple of areas it could attach to. One hose from the carburetor that goes nowhere clearly says its a vent hose. There is another similar hose that goes nowhere above it. I tried attaching the gas to that input and filled the tank it began to leak out of the bottom house and the air filter (bad move on my part). The only other place I see that can possible fit the gas hose is a small tube that sticks out the top of the carburator. I figure this must be some sort of vent.
I took a pic but unfortunately is larger than the 500kb the site allows loaded.
Any help is appreciated.....greatly.
