BSR, are a great tire and also fit most of the vehicles. RcforLess is another popular tire. Compound depends on the track. Silvers are common, as well as pinks. There's many more, just depends on what your racing, car truck, nitro, electric.

You've posted this question to at least 3 forums I've seen so far...

If you really want help, you MUST include some information, like:
What class/vehicle type? (sprint, buggy, truck, late model?)
Track type? ("Buggy tire", "Foam Tire")
Stock? Mod?
What Scale? (1/18th, 1/10th, 1/8th)

If they run 'Buggy' rear tires, ProLine "Inside Jobs" are usually good (M3). Locally I've had good luck with LOSI "BK-Bars" on our indoor dirt oval (my second favorite is LOSI X-2000 Reds), others are running ProLine HoleShot's at times.

I miss the old LOSI 'Sprint' tires (in Red compound), but they don't make them anymore

You could always just try asking the fast guys that race there what tire they're running too. It will likely save you a bunch of money as you wont be pissing it away on tires that won't work there. Usually if a guy is fast its safe to assume he already has it kinda figured out and most are more than willing to help a new guy out.
