Headsup! For those who have Dollar General stores nearby, they have American Graffiti T-Birds,Vegas,Chevettes $2.00 each, my nephew and I stumbled upon a large supply at one here in SW Iowa. I'm hoping they might sell some of the other scales and or models/dioramas soon.

Did you happen to find any 71 Impalas? Those seem to be the hardest ones to find.

Nope, No Impalas...But those are what I'm hoping will show, this is derby country and thems awesome derby material.
The '76-'79 T-Birds are great castings too..And they are equipped with nice Cragar style wheels and standard size tires for other customs...Not bad for $2..I plan to scarf them all up so the stores think they're great sellers, and order more.

I checked out two local DGs and found not even one in stock. Just HWs, MBs, and Suntoys.

Interesting, and a word for the people checking DGs..Here's the score for MY area...I have checked 10 Dollar General Stores in a 50 mile radius,,,4 had the American Graffitti cars & the other 6 did not, 1 has NEW HWs, all had a big selection of MatchBox, 5 were selling Maisto 2 packs, and all had NewRay 1/32 and 1/43 Classics castings (convertables).
That's my research, sounds like most of you are find about the same score...Keep Looking,,,These will show up I feel.

I still can't find the American Graffiti diorama with the YELLOW '32 coupe. But I did find the black one. I refuse to pay $20. for the yellow set on ebay or TTP so I guess I'll do without it.

Just a heads up, There are a lot of Walgreens around here that are carring the American Graffitti cars. Also I found a few in Safeway and Albertsons.
I recommend that you check your grocery stores and mom and pop shops.
I have seen them hanging but I do not have any prices.
