View Full Version : Greenlight sent a Christmas Present sschevyman1 12-17-2008, 04:03 PM http://i460.photobucket.com/albums/qq327/sschevy502/DSC00294.jpg sschevyman1 12-17-2008, 04:05 PM I was contacted by GL after posting this missing flames camaro Z28. Today I got a replacement Bandit Z28 from them. Thanks GL. street-snorter 12-17-2008, 05:17 PM Now that is a Company worth buying from. To actually look at diecast sites & correct a mistake or error. Greenlight I applaud your devotion to the diecast community. I will be sure to buy more of the Greenlight brand now. Congrats sschevyman on a replacement. I enjoy your pics. GLH Turbo 12-17-2008, 05:29 PM I'm not surprised... I've come to expect this level of customer service from GL. ozmont 12-17-2008, 09:49 PM They all I really buy anymore. rattlehed 12-17-2008, 10:16 PM This is why I no longer collect Mattel products. This is why for the most part I only buy "whites" and not many regs(plus you can't find them). I order case after case of GL though. Their concern with our opinions has me expecting a little more out of "my" brand. They are the ones that finally figured out that those of us here at HT and at their own website are valuable resources both for input and getting out by word of mouth their good name and reputation. They figured out that those of us who take their time to actively discuss the hobby night after night are REALLY "into" the hobby. We are the hardcores. We are the reason they do a booming business. It's really nice to be taken seriously. Congrats on your replacement. kneedeep56 12-17-2008, 11:08 PM Congrats and to GL...  NYSWLHUNTER 12-18-2008, 10:56 AM WHAT!!!!THATS RIDICULOUS. I sent them an email about one of the cars i got and the pretty much told me to EAT it. Read the email in your other post. I guess im a friggin liar and i cant get my stuff replaced.WHATS UP GREENLIGHT. I want a answer why i was told to return my car but they replace others. IM MAD AS HELL NOW:rolleyes: GLH Turbo 12-18-2008, 12:04 PM Pierre, Your situation is unique in that you had a problem with a very limited run car. I do realize that ALL of their cars are limited runs/very low production, but what I have gleamed from talking with them is that they don't have Green Machines just sitting around their offices ready to replace any ones with defects. I think that is the misconception that is out there. They don't actually handle all of the product that gets produced. It is probably shipped directly from the warehouse to the dealers, never passing through the main offices. Think of them as a distributor where they get the cases randomly packed with GM's just like and dealer would. Most of those cases would have regular cars with which they can offer replacements from. They will get the odd GM in a case, same as you or I, but which one is anyones guess. That is why they can and do replace and defective regular issue, but can't replace a GM. All of this is pure speculation on my part from the tidbits of info that I have been able to gather. But it makes logical sense to me, how about you? Marc rattlehed 12-18-2008, 02:01 PM Maybe you should change the"WL" in your screen name to GL!:p I do know from experience that gl will attempt to resolve any quality issues when it is possible. Maybe it was not possible in your case. NYSWLHUNTER 12-18-2008, 05:09 PM Ok i agree it goes in the "strange" pile yeah i need a new screen name, can i change it but keep my feedback? sschevyman1 12-19-2008, 12:15 AM http://i460.photobucket.com/albums/qq327/sschevy502/DSC00542.jpg http://i460.photobucket.com/albums/qq327/sschevy502/DSC00544.jpg sschevyman1 12-19-2008, 12:16 AM Thanks Again Geenlight/ Like I said in the other post, I had a problem with my Bandit Chevelle and they could not help me then.
