Got together with some buddies the other day.(had a great time!)
One of them, Dave Antonelli ,(remember him?)
presented me with this little beauty...

And her Green sister....

A matching number set, too, both #22.

Thanks, Dave. it's people like you that make this hobby special. And thanks to Hobby talk for bringing the 5 of us together.

heres the travel story of the deuce deuce trans ams
originally i traded woody a two pack greenie
he sent me that pair-hence 22-my number-related two a deuce deuce-22oz of heineken
then i traded them to hutt for something
then sir laughalot dave got them and know rob has them! Rightfully so i must say! So that is an intentional matching number set! Congrats!

Sofa King: Yeah, I knew they were yours at one time. You offered them to me at Mark's, but Mark was giving me the regular version. So you made the trade with Dave. Dave had put the set on the bay, and I mentioned I may have to put in a bid. Of course, he responds with " you want 'em? They're yours" I shoulda known, that's just how he is.
He also gave me a White Lightning Firebird at the same time. Helluva guy, makes this hobby what it should be. No overinflated sense of value on these little toy cars.
Pierre: Thanks for the background story. I had no idea they made the rounds. Now they have a permanent home. they ain't goin' nowhere!

Dave: My Mom called me a "nice feller" once. Once.
I'll let them all know ya said Hi. Maybe Rich will even drop in and say Hi backatcha. (lol)

Mike: Mark and Rich hit that store on an irregular basis. It's too far for me. Get together with them sometime, maybe hook up for our next road trip. yeah, we're all doing well.
Bill drops in on the customs board from time to time, Mark? haven't seen him here in awhile. Aquaxj8? Busy with his new house. The other two? well....

Speaking of "green", i once went to school with this girl in the 60s who wore green go-go boots to school. All the other girls wore white, but this girl's mother must have bought these on sale. She couldn't have been more unpopular than if she were to paint a swastika on her forehead. Oh yea, nice cars too!
