Have also thought about adding Tyco fogs, from the Sand Rail, buggy, to this body as well. Your Translucent Orange ones do the job just fine. :) :)

Have about 8 of those bodies painted up and just waiting till things slow down a bit to have some fun with them detail wise. Just let me know when you are ready and we can start a VW Baja Jamboree....gotta love this body style.

When JL popped these out in Ugly Pink and Purple I jumped on them because they had the chrome rear engines. Some of mine are black (about 1/2 of them) and plan on just painting them gray. When in doubt paint it gray is my motto....never had a complaint yet.

Ended up with my Dads 1:1 scale 72 Super Beetle in 1983 and kept on looking in the J.C.Whitney Catalogue and dreaming of a Baja conversion...oh dang.:cry:
