In 1989, Aston Martin entered two of the new AMR1s in the 1989 LM 24 Hours. The cars weren't particulary quick, qualifying in 32nd (#18) & 40th (#19) positions.
Whilst the #18 did eventally finish in 11th place, 50 laps behind the winning Sauber, the #19, driven by David Leslie, Ray Mallock & David Sears, retired with electrical problems after 153 laps. The model is by Spark.
