Looking for a personal transponder relatively cheap. I see that these things sell for around $100...can these be transferred from one driver to another if it gets sold, or how do these things work?

AMB is all mark up. ^ years ago they were about 55 dollars. They have doubled in price. They keep saying its due to market prices going up.. Its all crap. They have the market covered and we need there product so they can charge us what they want..

A transponder is not signed to the person who buys it. You buy it then get a number on it. That number can be used by whoever is in possession of the unit..

I will not get into the "MyLaps.com" issue with AMB and real racers...it is UGLY!!!!!

I did manage to buy a new AMB off Ebay for $70 "buy it now" and with 25% windows live cash back....good deal.

AMB's generally go for $85-90 + shipping on ebay.
