harristotle 12-13-2008, 07:03 PM The detail is incredible! What scale is that? When you say functional blower, does that mean the butterflies work? Awesome

1/64th scale rc car. yes if i remember right. it was along time ago so i cant remember if this one got the working blower or not. add will have to move the blower arm forward to see if its one of them. i know i made 3 motors that did work.
by the looks of the blower scoop i think it is one of them.??
Hilltop Raceway 12-14-2008, 11:24 AM Cool 55!!! Lots of detail work there!!! I likes that engine wiring...RM

making the wiring is very easy. i found a simple trick to make spark plug wires
buy using 3mm gold - silver and black crimps. found at jo-anns fabric store where i buy my tuck an roll meterial for the cars.
these crimps can be used for wiring- water hose ends. distributer caps-wheelcaps. exhaust tips- and guages. tach-oil-and fuel-and have used them on welding tanks for guages. i have used these for around 5 years now.
guess i need to do a how to for dip. if he wants it.
right now the image posting is not working for me. ive contacted hank to see whats going on. i may have to get the old computer running to post pics.

mean while heres the red and white one stripped down and repainted.
yes it's been sitting since 05
roadrner 12-15-2008, 08:15 AM Another classic Gunn! Great details, only change I would have used bare metal foil on the chrome trim. I use it on the slotar customs, gives a great look and can be easliy trimmed around the molding to give nice clean lines.:thumbsup: rr
