I love the Dash "splitty" vans. Along with my splitties I also grabbed a Herbie. Has anyone else bought one? Did the rear bumper look like this? I am just looking for reference of quality. The front was great but the rear was just a slap-on. David

You know what, I just looked at mine. It happens to be the same, I think it might be upside down. rr

It's melted on like most older cars but is crooked. I just wanted to know if that is how they are or made wrong. OK, My brother gets the bus for Christmas. I will have work with Herbie.

Next time I fire up the Dremel, I may take a closer look about removing it and reinstalling the other way to see how it looks. May look a little too high from the corner of the bumper's perspective. :) rr

I have put together a few 1:1 Bugs (1951-1973). I hope there is enough material on a small scale to get it straight. I would have been happy if they would have just left it loose for me to to decide how straight it was to melt it on. David

It is not upside down. It is too close to the body. See the front and how the (over riders) up and down parts point to the top. It looks as if it has been rear-ended. I enjoy the fact that there is even a cool Bug Bus or any VW in a slot car body and just sharring a $.02. I still want more. Even if crooked.

Looks like the DASH manufacturers may have drilled the holes a little too high. May be able to lower that rear bumper for a better look. We'll see. ;) rr
