I just saw an Acura commercial that has a slot car track in it.

I just saw the comercial. Looked like a Giant Raceway or a Big Block Battlers set. Didn't get a real good look though.

I've seen it as well, nice to see slots getting some tv time. Even if it is just a snipit.

I got really excited at first, because I thought it was a store's Christmas gift idea commercial at first. I was a little disappointed to find it was a car commercial.

I just caught that commercial this morning. Kinda neat to see that included.

What is that line they use in that commercial? Something about the return of good things or something to that effect? Whoever came up with the idea of including slot cars HAD/HAS to be a fan of the hobby or who would have thought of it?

Saw the commercial - the inference was recapturing Christmas past with a similarly cool gift. Saw slot cars and G scale trains, not necessarily on the top of the list for a 7 year old now, but the slot car shot was really good. Bet that spot sells some sets - and they cost a heck of a lot less than an Acura.

I'll have to watch for it. I've seen the Big Wheel, Real Pony, and Atari 2600 ads in the series.

The theme of the commercial is about 'bringing the fun back" and it focuses on fun toys you had as a kid. :woohoo:

Perhaps in a parallel universe they have an AFX Mega-G commercial starting with a brief glimpse of an Acura... We'll find out in the end. After all, Albert Einstein did postulate that parallel lines eventually meet.... :hat: Time to take my thinking cap back off.. It hurts....
