Looking for the Jaco equivalents for BSR Pink fronts, Purple fronts, Pink rears, and Double Pink rears. Anyone know.

Jaco has 3 Pink tires. Soft Pink, Pink and Double Pink. I would say the soft pink is like a BSR pink, and the Pink is like a BSR Double Pink. The Jaco double pink is pretty hard.

Jaco Purple is pretty hard Probably like a BSR purple or double purple. Jaco Lilac is like a team purple or just a little softer.

Compare to RC4Less and T/M ?

It would be nice to see a chart comparing the major tire brands to one another...I have local racers ask me this question at virtually every race, and we never know what tires the LHS may stock.

There is a chart here
http://www.hobbytalk.com/bbs1/showpost.php?p=2597307&postcount=29

But it is kind limited. I think a lot of the compounds have changed.

That's a decent chart, it just needs a few compounds stuck in there (like BSR 'Team Purples', Jaco Soft Pink and a few others.)

Are the DURO numbers the numbers given by the mfg's or actual comparisons?

All of my RC4Less tires measure higher than the numbers on the wheels, but the Murdocks and BSR's are generally really close. It seems to me my T/M's read higher too.

I think some Duro's are messured on the sheet, and some are messured once they are mounted on the wheel. Everyone knows that they will never match from tire to tire, but they should be close.

I dont think jaco has tires that compare to some of the tires BSR has.. Whatever kevin listed is whats prolly best. I know He use to build them.(BSR that is)..

Those numbers were mostly from the websites..
Feel free to modify, I have no problems with that at all...
As stated earlier, I did indeed leave some out, mostly for
space limitations... I just did a quickie for the person that
asked for a chart...
I never intended to make a "project" out of it..

Dan,

I didn't know who built it. It's a nice job.

If I had access to all the tires, I'd like to do one with THE Same Durometer, and the same person checking them ALL and compile numbers, but that would be a LOT of tires and a lot of work.

YOUR chart looks like it was enough work. The colors make it great.

Thanks guys for the quick responses. Still a little confused but I copied the xls chart and will probably use that.
