I just got off the phone with Samsung. Went through all the reset options and tried different modes. Still get this...

They told me to send it to them for repair. Warrenty has expired so it will be a cost of about $60.00 , I expected it to be higher.
As for the truck. It will be stripped again. Not happy with the outcome. Base coat is chrome. Covered with blue anodized.
Not posting pics sure takes the fun out of it. I wonder how long it will take to be returned.

Sorry to hear about the camera problem Bob. I don't know how good a quality camera you have, but by the time you add shipping to the $60 (could it be more than that?), maybe you'd be better off buying a new one.

Depending on it's age, you might wish to upgrade with a new one. rr

I think I'd agree with others, you might have been just as well off to invest in a new camera and start over. For about twice the amount you end up spending on repairs to the old one, you could get a really great one. Will miss seeing your pics till you get a working one again.

I think you guys are right. It wasnt a cheapie. But not that expensive either. I forget what I paid for it. And the prices on stuff like this keeps dropping. I'll wait until after the first and maybe just go shopping again. Money is tight right now. You can bet the new one will be kept where young'ens can find it.

I don't know what could be causing the horizontal striping seen in your photo. Have you tried another memory card? Maybe reformatting the memory card? Perhaps a digital photography site could hip you to what's going on. Doesn't look like dead pixels; just looks like it's printed on canvas, or one of those old textured plastic placemats.

Cool looking semi cab, BTW!
